Completely on-top of her material and fully engaged with her audience

I attended Lisa's self-management presentation "Crazy Busy Isn't a Badge of Honor" at the 2016 NALP Annual Education Conference. She is an incredibly skilled presenter -- completely on-top of her material and fully engaged with her audience. An outstanding session in every respect.

If you have never had the great pleasure of attending one of Lisa Montanaro's speaking sessions... YOU SHOULD! She is amazing! I want to grow up to be her.

I loved the call to action to push me to make change.

Your class came at a crucial time for me! Feeling overwhelmed with all that was on my plate was taking the joy out of my job. Your class content was not only incredibly interesting and relevant, but I loved the call to action to push me to make change. In fact, I have the notes from your session hanging on my cubical wall to remind me of the need for "Hyper-Focus" time!"

A pint-sized powerhouse.... that is how to describe Lisa Montanaro after seeing her in action at the amazing Kick-Butt Business Boot Camp held in Baltimore, MD for a select group of professional organizers that were ready to up-level their businesses.

Lisa delivered on her promise to provide high-level content backed up by real-life examples garnered from her years of experience as a business coach and successful entrepreneur running her own business. She not only gives you solid tips and tools, but answers tons of questions and does mini-coaching moments on the spot so that attendees can tailor the content to their own businesses and learn from hearing her answers to other attendees. She is approachable, funny, and whip-smart too! What a winning combination! Attendees said they got their money's worth and more, and were excited to implement the best practices into their businesses. Want to ensure that your business building event is a success? Make sure it includes Lisa Montanaro!

Your counsel and ideas are extremely valuable.

Your sparkling eyes and glowing smile infected the entire room, and will inspire many, I bet, to take the first step. Your counsel and ideas are extremely valuable.

Me? I’ll begin with old tax papers . . . then move to my work shed . . . all the while carrying your maxim on my shoulder: the 80-20 rule.

Thanks heaps for the inspiring and challenging presentation you gave us.

It has been said that an idea, no matter how great, never grows into reality until it is personified.

You are the personification of that idea: to get organized and live a better life.

Lisa gave a superb presentation and we are bringing her back to do a presentation for our next session!!

As Director of Pace Law School's New Directions: Practical Skills for Returning to Law Practice program, I retained Lisa to do a presentation on Staying Organized During a Career Transition. Lisa gave a superb presentation and we are bringing her back to do a presentation for our next session!! She was highly professional, thoroughly knowledgeable and completely engaging in her presentation. Our participants, who are attorneys in transition back into the paid workforce, were delighted with Lisa and are all energized and motivated to implement Lisa's very practical suggestions. I give Lisa my highest recommendation.

I was recently asked by my peers, who made the most impact on me at the NAPO New Orleans 2013 conference. My answer was very easy...

The bar was set for my first time NAPO conference at a Pre-Conference Presentation called, "Speak Up! Deliver Killer Presentations" with Lisa Montanaro and Monica Ricci. They were amazing! I almost wish I would have seen them at the end, because nothing compared to them for me...sorry Keynote Speakers.

These two ladies "spoke up" and delivered a "KILLER PRESENTATION"!"

Maryann Peters

Lisa’s information... was invaluable for the nearly 50 people in attendance.

The Davis Chamber of Commerce invited Lisa to provide a closing keynote presentation at its March members-only workshop on ways to boost productivity and profit with effective delegation skills. Lisa’s information on “Mastering the Art of Delegation,” and her message that trying to do everything yourself is a sure-fire way to become overwhelmed, was invaluable for the nearly 50 people in attendance. Lisa walked managers and business owners through common obstacles to delegation, discussed different ways that failing to delegate holds us back and negatively impacts our companies’ bottom line, and how to effectively delegate. Lisa’s mantra is “Let Go to Grow” and this resounded with the audience. Lisa’s energy really brought the presentation to life and her interactive style kept participants engaged and actively learning.

While the information presented was exceptional, Lisa needs to also be recognized for all her help during the event planning. Lisa followed another speaker at our workshop and she did a commendable job building upon important elements of that speaker’s presentation. Also, Lisa was incredibly accommodating and effectively customized her talk to fit our time constraints and focused on those elements we felt would be of most value to our membership.

I highly recommend Lisa’s speaking services for your organization’s events. And if her one-on-one consulting services mirror the quality of her group work, you’ll definitely be more organized and productive for having worked with Lisa.

I want to thank you for patiently and comprehensively answering all of my questions!

I enjoyed your Kick Butt Business Bootcamp hosted by the NAPO-Greater Philadelphia Chapter. The content was fabulous. But even more so, I want to thank you for patiently and comprehensively answering all of my questions! In 13 years of being a business owner, I can't remember having an opportunity to ask one person such a variety of questions about running and marketing a business. What an amazing opportunity! Many other attendees thanked me afterward for asking so many relevant questions that all of us really wanted to know the answers to. Thank you again!

You are such a gifted speaker, it was very inspirational!

I had a quiet moment and was able to indulge and watch The Big Event video from start to finish! I SO enjoyed hearing your story and how you decided to transition your life at each point and everything! You are such an intuitive soul but you also explained how you planned and worked hard to make the changes work for you, so that you COULD pursue your passion! You are such a gifted speaker, it was very inspirational! I have this little idea in the back of my head... and am inspired by your video to pursue it now. Thanks so much for posting it!

"Lisa, thank you for a great organizing presentation that you conducted for our staff, and for sharing your Mantra: 'Do not have anything in your home, office or life that you do not love, use often, or need'. I love it, and will use it going forward, as mine too! You are inspirational!"

I definitely learned some valuable tips

"I attended your seminar at the New York City Bar Association. I just wanted to tell you that I found the seminar very informative and helpful. While I am confident that I will always be more Oscar than Felix, I definitely learned some valuable tips that I am going to try to incorporate (and hopefully equalize!) into both my personal and professional life."

A dynamic speaker

"I would like to tell you how much I enjoyed LMOS' presentation to the Literacy Volunteers of Western Orange County. Ms. Montanaro was quite humorous in her presentation and attempted to 'whip us into shape'. She offered great insight into some of the behaviors that contribute to disorganization and offered several easy principles and steps for decluttering our lives. I found this inservice very valuable, not just as a literacy volunteer but as a self-employed business woman and a family member in the 'sandwich generation'. I hope that we can have Ms. Montanaro revisit this topic in a year and evaluate how we are doing with her organizing solutions. I am thankful that Literacy Volunteers provided such a dynamic speaker for an inservice training."

Now that we all got a taste of your presentation style, we can't wait for more!

"What a fantastic presentation you made at our NAPO-NY chapter meeting on November 3rd! Thank you so much for coming to NYC and presenting to our members. Your knowledge is apparent, your enthusiasm contagious, and your delivery just right for the audience

"Thank you so much for facilitating the Dealing With Change in the Workplace workshop at our Superintendent’s Conference Day on November 4, 2008. Your presentation was fabulous! Your presentation was one of the best I've ever heard

"I just wanted to tell you what a fabulous speaker you are; I worked in the environmental division of a large law firm for nine years and I never heard the various liability structures explained so clearly. Your presentation at the 2008 NAPO Conference on legal pitfalls was one of the best I've ever heard explaining law to a largely lay audience. Thanks again!"

The level of energy and enthusiasm you bring into the training environment is truly admirable

"Thank you for coming out and doing the Effective Business Writing and Dynamic Communication workshop for our staff. The level of energy and enthusiasm you bring into the training environment is truly admirable and your organizational skills certainly show proof of the amount of effort and thought you place in preparing for your seminars. Yours was the only CD I purchased

"I went to your Legal Landmines workshop at the 2008 NAPO Conference and just wanted to tell you how impressed I was. It was such a needed topic, especially with someone so knowledgeable and such a good speaker. Thank you. I have already implemented so many of your suggestions. Yours was the only CD I purchased from conference. I am sure your session will benefit me for years to come. You have such an awesome niche as a professional organizer and attorney providing legal advice for PO's. There are so many other professionals who just don't understand our business that it's hard to get good, sound advice from them. Best wishes in all your business adventures! P.S. I LOVED your performance of 'All that Jazz' at the NAPO Talent Show!"

She’s bright and shiny on a dreary day, she sings, she dances, she’s a Professional Organizer, oh and did I mention she’s an attorney too?

"She’s bright and shiny on a dreary day, she sings, she dances, she’s a Professional Organizer, oh and did I mention she’s an attorney too? She’s Lisa Montanaro, and she was one of our favorite teleclass guest experts last year. She spoke on the topic of Employees vs. Independent Contractors and on our Ask the Organizers Teleclass both audios are available on our web-site. Lisa can answer all those pressing legal questions you have been afraid to ask or didn’t know where to turn to for the answers.

As I mentioned Lisa is multi-talented but what I really like about her is her approachability. Speaking to an attorney can be a little intimidating but Lisa knows how to answer the tough questions while making sure you truly understand the answers."

I want to commend you on a job well done

"I want to commend you on a job well done. Everyone has been saying how great your facilitation of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce's 2009 Board Retreat was. I agree! I have been to many of these types of programs in the past, and I could not believe how fast the retreat went. Thank you for the instant impact you made on me!

"What an inspiring presentation you gave last week! As I write, I have a newly acquired, heavy duty, cross-cut shredder and two portable plastic file carriers by my side. You have really changed my life

"I have been thinking a lot lately about all you taught us at the Putman/Northern Westchester BOCES organizing workshop, and I have been implementing many of the tips you provided. I cannot tell you how you have really changed my life. I know it sounds corny, but I was in such a bad place before your workshop. You got me thinking of how to use your methods for every aspect of my life and what a difference! I must say, your seminar really helped me put things into perspective and prioritize my activities. I don't have to do it all at once. What a relief! Because I organized and compartmentalized my life, I am not only happier and more relaxed, but so much more productive. It's showing at work and at home. It's amazing how organizing your life gives such peace of mind! My only problem is now I want MORE of your tips and enthusiasm. So, don't be surprised to see me at other presentations you will be holding. Thanks again for all you do."

Lisa was exceptional from the moment she began

"Lisa was exceptional from the moment she began her presentation to our PTA. We listened, laughed and learned in a way that everyone could relate to, even though we all had our own individual organizational issues. Lisa's handouts had terrific strategies from LM Organizing Solutions. Personally, I found the mnemonics particularly helpful and will definitely post them in a place I can see them, until change becomes habit. Many of the (anonymous of course) examples she used to describe unique situations she has encountered, allowed us to feel comfortable about our personal ways of doing things. My only disappointment was in in how fast the time seemed to go.

Overall, perhaps the best thing about her presentation was how eager I was to go home and begin to implement some of what I learned. Lisa was the most worthwhile speaker I have seen in years."

Your talk was so relevant and valuable

"I waited a few minutes after your organizing & time management presentation to the Entrepreneurial Assistance Program to speak to you, but you had an adoring crowd vying for your attention. I want to thank you for your presentation. It was truly an eye opener. I expected a talk on filing systems, but you opened my eyes to things I had never considered, and I truly enjoyed it. You've got great speaking skills and the content of your talk was so relevant and valuable. I've no doubt it will impact me as I move on with my dreams for this new venture, and so I thank you."

Participants raved about her workshop

"Lisa Montanaro recently spoke to our women’s business group on 'Organizing and Time Management Tips for Entrepreneurs,' and participants raved about her workshop. They found her energetic, informative, motivational, and able to share from a wide range of different areas within the topics of organizing and life transitions. She made what can often be a challenging topic very accessible, and we’re planning to have her back for '21st Century Organizing Tools' this spring."

Speak Up was one of the best courses I’ve ever taken!

Speak Up was one of the best courses I’ve ever taken!  Lisa and Monica shared a wealth of information based on their many years of speaking experience.  In just 8 weeks, I felt like I had received years of training.  The course content was incredibly rich and I continue to refer back to the handouts and notes as I increase my speaking services.  Whether you have never taken the stage or you’ve been speaking for a while, you’re sure to learn something in this course!

I was so motivated that I spent that evening organizing my office and I feel like a million dollars!

I want to thank you, Lisa. Your DECIDE to be Organized presentation to the Mid-Hudson Estate Planning Council on Thursday, March 3, 2011 was great. I was so motivated that I spent that evening organizing my office and I feel like a million dollars! I also gave a speech the next day and your Stand & Deliver: Dynamic Presentations CD helped with that aspect of my job too! Thanks so much.

Just about every person in the audience remarked upon how interesting, helpful and motivating your talk was.

I want to thank you on behalf of the Orangeburg Library for your wonderful "DECDE to be Organized" presentation at the library on Monday, March 26, 2011. Just about every person in the audience remarked upon how interesting, helpful and motivating your talk was. And, I strongly suspect, that this weekend, any number of homes will have far less clutter than before! Good luck with your many endeavors, especially the new book.

You held the attention of virtually everyone in attendance and delivered a powerful, yet easy to understand message.

I want to thank you for the outstanding presentation you put on for the Women's Council of Realtors event last week at the Culinary Institute of America. Working under some very difficult conditions (poor acoustics, cavernous multi-room venue, after lunch time slot) you held the attention of virtually everyone in attendance and delivered a powerful, yet easy to understand message. You'll enjoy hearing this: as I was walking to my car a woman came up to me and thanked me for arranging your talk. She showed me pages of notes and told me yours was a message she needed to hear. Earlier another woman pulled me aside and said you were 'fantastic'. That was high praise because I know that woman well and she is tough to impress. Your talk was an unqualified 'hit'. I hope we have the chance to work with you again.

Program Co-Chairman, Women's Council of Realtors - Dutchess County

Not only was your expertise apparent but also your ability to assess the clientele in the room and speak to their specific concerns.

"Thank you for coming to speak to our Heels in Motion group. All participants rated the workshop in the highest rating categories. Those who I spoke with following the presentation were excited and felt equipped with new ideas and perspectives. One attendee wrote that the night was “awesome” and that it “motivated her to DECIDE.” Another told me that she began using your phraseology that “everything has a home” with her kids! Another woman went home and threw away over a year’s worth of unopened mail! The tips and tools you offered our group were priceless and I know that I personally have made changes because of them. Not only was your expertise apparent but also your ability to assess the clientele in the room and speak to their specific concerns. Thank you again for coming to speak to us!"

You really make learning fun!

Lisa, You are an absolute delight. Thank you for being our keynote speaker for the Arizona-Nevada-New Mexico Division Education Forum & Annual Meeting of the International Association of Administrative Professionals held in Albuquerque on June 3, 2011. My only complaint is that I wish they had scheduled you for a full day session! Your presentation, DECIDE to be Organized: Create Your Purpose, Live Your Passion, was a topic that we have not had in the 16 years I've been in this division. It was fresh, lively, informative, and fun. You amazed me with your stories in support of something an attendee mentioned. You had a story for everything. You really make learning fun! It was a pleasure meeting you and I hope that our paths cross again.

Patti Speer

I am going to nominate you for a further presentation at our annual meeting.

"Lisa, I want you to know how much I enjoyed your Ethics webinar for the American Association of Daily Money Managers (AADMM) in July 2011.

Your slides were very well done and reflect the great amount of thought and planning that you must have given to preparing for this event.

Your presentation was excellent, loud, and clear.

And your willingness to tackle all the incoming questions made for a terrific learning experience! I am going to nominate you for a further presentation at our annual meeting. Thank you!"

We had a packed house for her presentation and not a single person went home disappointed.

"We invited Lisa to speak to prospective residents at Glen Arden, Orange County’s only continuing care retirement community. Often, we deal with people who would just love to move here or to move somewhere, but don’t know where to begin. They have years and years of “stuff” which may have sentimental value or may have some monetary value. What do we do with all of this stuff? This is where Lisa comes in. Not only was Lisa motivating and extremely insightful, but she also did not let any one of us feel like we were alone in this dilemma. We had a packed house for her presentation and not a single person went home disappointed. Months have gone by since Lisa spoke to the group and I still have attendees from that day telling me their success stories after hearing Lisa’s ideas and putting them to use. Every single one of those people have a great sense of pride in what they have accomplished, which is awesome to see! Lisa makes organizing and downsizing seem so easy by making it a manageable process. She will be invited back by popular demand!"

Thanks for the fantastic presentation You were awesome!

"Thanks for the fantastic presentation, "Successfully Self-Employed: Achieve Results at Home, in Business & in Life" to our women's entrepreneur group. You were awesome! I'm know the rest of the group feels the same way. In fact, one of the group members is revamping her business plan because she realized that her passion is "public speaking" after seeing you in action. I'm certain that you awakened and inspired that decision because I even entertained the idea for a brief moment during your presentation (smiles)!"

You provide the right balance between sharing and allowing us to reflect, ask questions, and comment.

"Lisa, I so enjoy the women's entrepreneur mastermind group sessions that you facilitate. You share with us very practical and useful information that we can apply to our businesses and our personal lives. You provide the right balance between sharing and allowing us to reflect, ask questions, and comment. Also, thank you for being transparent, and sharing your successes and challenges that you have encountered in your business. This is both refreshing and gives us encouragement. Lastly, the handouts are great! Thank you for sharing some of the tools you use in your business. Not everyone would do this! I'm eagerly looking forward to the next sessions!"

You were very polished in your delivery, and made everyone feel comfortable enough to ask questions.

"Thank you so much for your wonderful presentation at our NAPO NNJ Chapter Meeting on Monday, April 23rd."

"Your customization of your Bold Business Moves: Moving Your Business in the Right Direction was very well received. You gave all our members, no matter their years of experience or area of expertise, valuable information. You touched on so many topical areas including: Entrepreneurial Growth Obstacles, Delegating, Accountability Tools, Multiple Streams of Income, the Profit Pyramid, Suite of Services, and so much more.

Your experience as both a Professional Organizer and a veteran speaker really makes for a great combination in presenting to NAPO members. You were very polished in your delivery, and made everyone feel comfortable enough to ask questions.

I enjoyed seeing your presentation as well as working with you in the weeks leading up to it. I wish you the best of luck with your upcoming move across the country. I’m sure the West Coast will be thrilled to have you and your business make yourself at home there."

Lisa engaged our audience with a fast-paced and lively keynote address

I have hired Lisa Montanaro as a speaker twice in the last year and couldn't be happier about my choice. As Wellness Coordinator for the City of Sacramento, I hired Lisa to deliver a presentation on how to get and stay organized. She delighted a very diverse audience of employees and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. As Program Co-Chair of the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) Sacramento Chapter, I hired Lisa as the keynote speaker for the 3rd Annual Northern California Training and Development Conference. Lisa engaged our audience with a fast-paced and lively keynote address on work-life integration that kept everyone on the edge of their seats. I would recommend Lisa for any group that desires an engaging speaker who can captivate and hold an audience's attention.

Lisa helped me to define some of the critical areas of my business

"I’ve attended many business building seminars, teleclasses and workshops, and Kick Butt Business Boot camp was definitely one of the best! Lisa helped me to define some of the critical areas of my business that needed to be addressed and I left the boot camp with the tools I needed to succeed. Lisa’s business boot camps should be a requirement for all small business owners, whether they are new in business or a veteran! Thanks, Lisa!"

We are excited to be able to move forward with confidence and motivation!

It was exactly what I needed to hear at this point in my career!

"Thank you very much for hosting the webinar 'Don't Be a See-Saw: Forget Balance & Engage in Life-Work Integration.' It was exactly what I needed to hear at this point in my career! My duties have recently changed on my job, and I was having a hard time dealing with it.  However, I know that I need to only focus on what is expected of me within reason during the work day.  I am very confident that the tools that you offered today will allow me to get a better handle on work-life balance without the stress. Thank you!"

You did a great job providing so much relevant content without giving us that feeling of info-overload.

"I'm so glad that I attended your Don't Go It Alone: It Takes a Village to Run a Successful Organizing Business session at NAPO 2010 and saw you speak in person. You are very well-spoken and a wonderful presenter. You did a great job providing so much relevant content and without giving us that feeling of info-overload.

There was one thing in particular that you said and I wanted you to know that it has really made me think differently about some of my business expenses. In fact, I plan to attend the conference next year because of it. It was the part when you were talking about when/how business owners decide to hire a virtual asst. Some build it into their cost of doing business from the start and others wait until they reach a specified level. The past few years I have made my decision on whether or not to attend Conference based on the latter. Now, I have decided to build it into my budget and I definitely plan to attend Conference next year! "
